SuMost teenage boys are taking their girlfriends on festive dates to Winter Wonderland and if they’re feeling especially romantic – then maybe a Nandos for a whole chicken, too.
But the One Direction lads are putting all of the hopeless boyfriends in Britain to shame as they whisked their ladies to New York and treated them to a night of Broadway and swanky diners.
The band are in America to perform at the iconic Madison Square Garden and the WAGs were flown out to keep them company between rehearsals.
Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne took their girlfriends Eleanor Calder, Perrie Edwards and Danielle Peazer to watch the Christmas classic Elf before the triple-date enjoyed dinner together.
We can’t work out if all going on a date-night together is the sweetest thing ever or if it makes us want to do a little sick in our mouths.

It's rare we get to see Zayn and Perrie in the same picture, despite the Little Mix girls revealing the 1D singer is absolutely smitten with her.
There's not even been the cliché twitpics of one of them in bed. Nothing. Zilch. So this is all rather exciting.
It might have got a little awkward at times, though. Liam has reunited with his long-term girlfriend Danielle after the couple had a public break-up in September.
And since the split, Liam was spotted leaving nightclubs with a bunch of girls and was strongly linked to dating fellow X Factor star Leona Lewis.
The single members of 1D, Niall Horan and Harry Styles, were making their own fun elsewhere.
Irish charmer Niall was left by himself while Harry was enjoying a romantic stroll with rumoured girlfriend Taylor Swift.
He won't mind about being a bit of a loner because the boys were buzzing after their gig last night and threw a pretty awesome after-party.
Our insider revealed that they sang old school karaoke classics such as Backstreet Boys and were joined by Ed Sheeran – the songwriting genius behind their number one single Little Things.
Harry was spotted by fans leaving the exclusive celebratory bash with Taylor around 4am and the couple were spotted getting into a car together. That’s the Harry we all know and love.
